I am confident you'll
like the way I think. My experience with the overall strategic
process applies an accumulated understanding of internet technologies,
online interactions and the insights attained during the discovery
phase.
It's only through this strategic process that I can
help you identify your needs, assets and opportunities. My
process routinely contains the following elements:

Interview
/ Audit
During the initial information gathering
session, I identify a company's niche audience,
competition, web presence as well as current pain
points. This aids me in understanding key areas for
improvement. Meeting with stakeholders of various
levels help me understand common goals while managing
competing interests. |

Competitive
Analysis
The online data I gather during this process
will enable your organization to make smarter online
business decisions. Within my analysis, I will evaluate
criteria on your site as well as your competitor's
web presence. This criteria includes elements such
as a site's framework and architecture, navigation,
content, performance and overall usability. |

Information
Architecture
I look beyond simply the navigational structure
of a website and focus additionally on the overall
management of information. I attempt to answer the
questions: "Can your visitors find the information
they are requesting?" "Are your visitors
turning into customers?", "Are performance
issues within your site lessening conversion rates
amongst potential customers?"
The result of these
efforts can be realized in heuristic evaluations,
use case scenarios, and/or wireframes. |

Functional
Specifications
I can capture strategic
and business requirements and ensure that the
intended behavior of a portal or application is carried
out. By identifying these during my strategic sessions,
I am able to ensure that all functionality is documented
prior to any actual development. This ultimately
saves on development costs and can even help determine
where current inadequacies are found. |
